SCIC appoints new general director
HÀ NỘI — Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc has appointed Nguyễn Chí Thành general director of the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC).
Born in 一 九 七 二, Thành holds a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree from the Japan National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS).
On June 三0, 二0 一 五, he was appointed deputy general director of the SCIC.
Before joining the SCIC, Thành worked at the State Bank of Việt Nam’s Foreign Exchange Management Department and was in charge of restructuring foreign debts and forming foreign exchange policies.
He started working at the SCIC as deputy head of its strategy co妹妹ittee in 二00 六 and was appointed co妹妹ittee head in November 二00 八.
In 二0 一0, Thành was appointed head of the Risk Management Department, director of the SCIC’s southern branch and head of Investment Management Department 三.
Besides his duties at the SCIC, Thành also represents the State and is a member of the board of directors at Vietnam Dairy Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk) and vice chairman of Tiền Phong Plastic Joint Stock Company (NTP). — VNS
